Grape Hyacinths are blooming.
I'm loving the purple on my balcony. It's nice to have some flowers blooming. For many months now it's been all green except for the red of the cocktail vodka begonias and the juanita hatten bougainvillea. Next time I buy more plants I will try to stray from the reds and pinks. Pretty much all that I have right now are red and pink besides the candytufts. Hopefully soon I'll be seeing some blues with the campanulas and columbines. My delphinium seeds aren't sprouting so I won't be seeing their blue flowers. If my clematis keeps on going I'll be seeing some purple and pink. Besides those few I'll be having pinks, reds, and whites and some purples.

Those are really pretty but we don't call them that here---my mind won't let me think of the name right now--but it will come to me in a bit. I'll post back. I love blue in the garden.
anna- maybe you call them muscari. That is what I used to call them but everyone here seems to know them as grape hyacinths. Most of the time I like to call certain plants by their scientific names because they just sound better to me.
Yes, that's it Muscari--thank you, I've been trying to remember that. Anyway--they are beautiful and you got such pretty pics. I like your bee capture above too!! I have been trying to get a picture of the pretty cardinals in my backyard but they are too far away for my zoom. I need more zoom!!
