Greenthumbr is now open!

For a few months now I have been beta testing a wonderful site. This site I think can be just as popular as Blotanical. It's called Greenthumbr and it gives you chance to grow, reflect, and connect. You can manage your garden and your seeds and anything else you possibly can. It's like a little journal of all your plants. You can post pictures of your plants and then look back at that certain plant and see what it looked like as a seedling and what it looks like now. It's a great way to have all the information about a certain plant in one section. I know everyone will say...well I do all this on my blog. Sure but don't you sometimes you want to post up things that you don't on you blog or you want all the information on one place and easier to find. Plus you can meet more great gardeners that don't have blogs and greenthumbr is all they have. Also when everyone starts adding more information to their plants you will be able to find more information on them.

I suggest fellow garden bloggers or just gardeners give it a try. See what you think. It has been helpful for me even though I have started to slack off over there. I have too many things to keep up with at the moment. I'm not good at organizing on my blog and putting good labels to my posts so it makes it easier to find everything later. Plus it has been great to see all my photos of one certain plant in one place and how it has progressed.

Thanks so much for the kind words! We're really excited to finally open the doors after our private beta. It's been fantastic having you as an early user. Your feedback has been really helpful.

We're looking forward to rolling out some of your suggestions and lots of other new features as we continue to develop the site. As with so many things, it's still evolving. :) We're glad you're along for the ride.

We're really hoping to be a useful resource for everyone. Not only a place for experienced and committed gardeners to write about their plants, share images, and keep track of their garden. But the wisdom of the all our users, collected and structured, can also be a great resource for those folks who just want to figure out how to not kill the ivy in their office window.

Thanks again!
